Leave or Troubleshoot a Club

Before you begin

Leaving removes your membership from the Club conversation. It does not delete the Club, your account, or matches already associated with the Club.

iPhone, iPad, and Android

Open Clubs > My Clubs.

Open the Club's menu or open Club Info.

Select Leave.

Review Leave this club? and select Leave again.

macOS and Windows

Select Clubs > My Clubs.

Select the Club and open its menu or information panel.

Select Leave and confirm.

Web

Open My Clubs.

Open the Club menu or information panel.

Select Leave and confirm.

Expected result

The conversation leaves My Clubs. A joinable Club can appear in Browse again, where you can rejoin it later.

Troubleshooting

A Club disappeared from Browse

Check My Clubs. Joined and managed Clubs are intentionally excluded from Browse.

A joined Club disappeared from My Clubs

Clear the search, open Archived, and refresh the list.

A membership request appears to finish immediately

Current Request to Join handling is not consistently enforced. Do not assume that the displayed setting created a pending approval. Contact the Club organizer if access was unexpected.

A new-Club request is missing

The request form does not create a pending Club or status page. See Understand a Club Request.

A claim is waiting for review

Automatic approval requires the MYOPL account email to match the stored Club director or organizer email. A nonmatching claim is reviewed by an administrator.
