Create and Manage OPL Events

Updated August 23, 2026

Before you begin

The ordinary OPL must already exist, and you must be a recognized Event organizer: a MYOPL site administrator, the OPL creator, a linked Club official, or a linked Court administrator.

An OPL is the continuing container. Its Events are the dated open-play sessions.

iPhone, iPad, and Android

Open OPL’s > My OPL’s and select the OPL chat.

Tap the OPL header to open OPL Info.

Scroll to EVENTS.

Select Add Event.

Enter the schedule name, start date, and location name.

Add an end date if the schedule has a defined range.

Select the active days and add the start and end time for each slot.

Add up to three time slots for a day when the OPL has separate sessions that day.

Confirm that every end time is later than its start time.

Save the Event.

macOS and Windows

Open the OPL conversation from My OPL’s.

Select its header and find EVENTS in the side information panel.

Select Add Event.

Complete the required schedule name, start date, and location name.

Configure the days and time slots, then save.

Web

Open the ordinary OPL's information or administration view.

Open its Event controls if they are available to your account.

Enter the schedule and location information.

Configure its dated sessions and save.

The web management view may arrange these controls differently from installed apps.

Manage an existing Event

Open OPL Info > EVENTS.

Open the Event's action menu.

Choose an available action: Edit Event, Who's Going, Cancel Today, Pause, Resume, or Delete.

Confirm a destructive or schedule-changing action before leaving the panel.

Expected result

The Event card shows its schedule, time slots, location, date range, and paused state where applicable. Active Event reminders can appear in the OPL chat so members can respond.

Current limitations

Ordinary members may see only an Event active today in OPL Info, while organizers can see current and upcoming Events.

A regular member sees Suggest event details instead of Add Event. That suggestion is reviewed rather than saved directly.

Creating the original OPL request does not schedule an Event.

If an Event cannot be saved

Confirm that schedule name, start date, and location name are present.

Ensure each end time is later than its start time.

Remove an extra slot if a day already has three.

Confirm that you opened an ordinary OPL rather than a regional rating record.
