Respond to an OPL Event

Updated August 23, 2026

Before you begin

You must have joined the ordinary OPL. The organizer must have created an Event that is active for the current date.

iPhone, iPad, and Android

Open OPL’s > My OPL’s.

Open the OPL chat.

Find the current Event reminder card.

Review the date, location, and available time slots.

Select Going, Maybe, or No for the appropriate session.

Reopen the card to confirm that its counts reflect the response.

macOS and Windows

Select the OPL conversation from My OPL’s.

Find the current Event reminder in the chat.

Review its session time and select Going, Maybe, or No.

Web

Open the ordinary OPL conversation.

Find the active Event or attendance card.

Select the response available for the relevant session.

The web card may be arranged differently from the installed app.

Expected result

The Event's response counts update for that session. This indicates your current intention; the venue's organizer still controls any local check-in, capacity, or court assignment process.

Current limitations

A regular member may see only an Event active today in the OPL information flow.

The response card does not run a waitlist, reserve a court, or automate the venue's physical player rotation.

A regional rating record has no ordinary Event response card.

If no Event card appears

Confirm that you opened the ordinary OPL chat, not Your OPL Ratings by region.

Ask the organizer whether an Event exists for today or is paused.

Clear the chat search and refresh the conversation.

Check the OPL's EVENTS section for information currently visible to your role.
