Supported Sports: Racquetball

Racquetball scoring is engineered around standard first-to-15 point validation.

Controlled Administrator Testing

Racquetball is currently active in a controlled testing phase for authorized administrators and is not yet available for general release. The validation engine enforces standard International Racquetball Federation (IRF) game targets—first to 15 points with a 1-point margin. While full validation is underway, general members continue to interact exclusively with live pickleball features.

Score Validation Logic (15-Point Game)

Scoreline

Valid?

Validation Rule

15–14

Yes

Standard IRF target reached (win by 1).

15–0

Yes

Target reached (shutout).

14–13

No

Neither player reached the 15-point threshold.

16–14

No

Invalid; the game ends immediately upon reaching 15 points.

Match Architecture & Deciding Games

Game-Level Validation: The pilot scoring contract currently validates completed individual games recorded within the set telemetry fields.

Deciding-Game Handling: Official IRF regulations utilize standard 15-point games alongside dedicated deciding-game formats (such as an 11-point tiebreaker). Before public release, match structures will explicitly model these deciding-game variations rather than applying uniform game targets across an entire match card.

Release Prerequisites & Data Isolation

Strict Rating Isolation: Racquetball match results update dedicated racquetball rating rows only. Telemetry will never cross-contaminate pickleball, tennis, or any other sport context.

End-to-End Context Scoping: Sport boundaries are enforced end-to-end across match submission, rating engines, player statistics, caching layers, and external partner webhooks.

Authoritative Rule Package: Full rule citations and interpretations aligned with official International Racquetball Federation (IRF) standards.
