Can you enter the kitchen after the ball bounces?

Yes. A player may enter the non-volley zone to play a ball after it bounces because that shot is not a volley. The restriction is on initiating a volley while touching the zone.

Being inside the non-volley zone is not automatically a fault. The fault depends on volleying while the player or something in contact with the player touches the zone.
