Controlled administrator testing

Table Tennis is being prepared with first-to-11, win-by-two scoring.

MYOPL is preparing Table Tennis for controlled administrator testing; it is not yet a public member feature. A game is won at 11 points with at least a two-point lead; at 10–10 it continues until one side leads by 2. Only authorized MYOPL administrators can test this sport while its complete discovery, administration, result, rating, and reporting path is being validated. Other members continue to see pickleball.

A match contains multiple games

ITTF rules define the game target, while competition formats determine how many games make the match. MYOPL’s score form focuses on the complete game points entered per field. A public release must clearly state the supported match format rather than imply every competition uses the same number of games.

Shared product lifecycle

The sport changes score validation and sport-specific administration, but the MYOPL result lifecycle remains familiar: select the actual participants, enter complete games, submit the proposal, and obtain the required participant confirmation before the result is treated as recorded.
