Controlled administrator testing

Badminton scoring is being prepared with its 30-point cap intact.

MYOPL is preparing badminton for controlled administrator testing; it is not yet a public member feature. A game is first to 21 points, must be won by 2 after 20–20, and ends at 30 when the score reaches 29–29. Only authorized MYOPL administrators can test this sport while its complete discovery, administration, result, rating, and reporting path is being validated. Other members continue to see pickleball.

Complete-game storage

MYOPL records the final points for each complete game. It does not need every rally to validate the final score. A typical match can contain several game scores, each validated independently before the result is submitted.

Product release boundary

A score validator alone does not make badminton public. Browse filtering, facility administration, participant selection, result storage, rating isolation, leaderboard queries, and Help content must all carry the same sport context.
